Sources within the Tunisian club Etoile Sahel revealed that the Belgian club Anderlecht had requested a contract with the right-back Wagdy Kashrida during the current winter transfer period, especially since the player’s contract is nearing the end, and he has not yet renewed the contract.
Kashrida had received an offer from the French club Montpellier during the last summer period, but the management of Etoile Sahel club refused his departure, in the absence of a suitable alternative, in addition to the lack of financial compensation offered to include the distinguished player.
The sources added that Kashrida did not sign any official contracts in favor of Anderlecht of Belgium, despite the fact that he entered the free period of his contract, which gives him the right to sign for any club, without obtaining the approval of the coastal star.
he indicated, that there are efforts within the star club to persuade Kashrida to stay, despite the recent tension of the relationship with the new coach, Saad Al-Dridi, who entered into a crisis with the player, but some close people intervened, to end the dispute between them.
Kashrida had previously received several offers from Gulf and Egyptian clubs, she wanted to sign him, as one of the best elements in the right-back slot, but all offers were facing great rejection from the Etoile Sahel club, which adheres to keeping the player in the ranks of the team.
