Bayern Munich star Musiala positive for coronavirus

Bayern Munich’s teenage winger Jamal Musiala has tested positive for the coronavirus, the Bundesliga champions said Wednesday.

The 18-year-old Germany international is isolating at home and is “doing well“, according to the club.

Musiala was one of a handful of Bayern players who had to quarantine late last year as close contacts of someone who tested positive.

It was reported Musiala was unvaccinated against the virus though it has since been reported he has been jabbed.

Bayern top the Bundesliga by nine points and next visit Bochum on Saturday.
