Baneg’s family hits out against Saudi Derby referee

Al Hilal managed to hammer Al Shabab 5-1 in title-decider to on May 7 to cement their position at the top of the Saudi Professional League (SPL).

The game witnessed Al Shabab’s midfielder, Ever Banega being sent off from the game by the end of first half. 

Banega’s family fired harsh criticism against the game’s referee for his decision, as their posts on Twitter and Instagram went viral on social media. 

Al Hilal are currently sit at the top of the SPL table with 51 points, while Al Shabab stayed in the second position with 48 games, with only four games left.
