Amrani resigns from his position as MC Alger’s head coach

Abdelkader
Amrani
, MC Alger’s head coach, announced that he will step down from his
post as the team’s manager, following their 2-0 defeat against Zamalek in the
CAF Champions League group stage.

Amrani
faced a harsh criticism following their loss to Zamalek, as his team lost the
game at their home ground.

Amrani led the
team following the departure of Nabil Neghiz, who left the club last February
by mutual consent.

Under Amrani,
MC Alger achieved one victory in their last five games in the Algerian Ligue
Professionnelle 1, while he led the team to win two games in the CAF Champions
League group stage.
