Austrian David Alaba, Bayern Munich defender, has officially announced his departure from the Bavarian’s at the end of the current season.
Alaba said, during a press conference, today, Tuesday: “I have made a decision to leave Bayern Munich at the end of this season, and to go to a new experience.”
“It was clearly not an easy decision. I have been here for 13 years and this club means a lot to me,” he added.
Alaba concluded, saying, “I will not say anything about my next team now. I have many clubs interested in joining me.”
It is reported that Alaba’s contract with Bayern Munich ends next summer, and the two parties failed to reach an agreement on the renewal.
Spanish reports said that Alaba prefers a move to Real Madrid, but is getting better money offers from Premier League clubs.
Reports indicated that Alaba is of interest to Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City
