Al Wehdat defeat Al Nassr in AFC Champions League

Al Wehdat of Jordan managed to achieve an important victory over Al Nassr on Monday in Matchday 5 of AFC Champions League group stage.

Al Wehdat defeated Al Nassr 2-1 at King Saud University Stadium to achieve three precious points. 

In the 44th minute, Al Wehdat’s Ahmed Zreik broke the deadlock to give his team the lead. 

The minutes went on and Al Nassr tried to equalize the score, but Al Wehdat stood their ground to keep their net clean. 

In the 72nd minute,  Abdulaziz N’Diaye netted the second goal to emphasize his team’s domination over the game. 

In the dying minutes of the match, Al Nassr were awarded a penalty and Abderrazak Hamdallah managed to score from the spot. However, it was not enough to save the day for Al Nassr. 

Al Nassr are currently sit in the second position with 8 points, while Al Wehdat are at the bottom of the table with 4 points.
