Al Wasl Football Company sent a strong-worded official letter to the UAE Football Association, in order to clarify some of the matters regarding the penalties applied to referees and the extent of their legislative and legal approval, to verify the compatibility of the current regulations with the pre-existing ones with clubs.

Fabio Lima, Al Wasl player, was sent off with the red card during the confrontation with Bani Yas in the President’s Cup, which threatens his participation in the Al Wasl matches against Khorfakkan and Shabab Al-Ahly in the 11th and 12th rounds of the league.

Sharjah Club does not have the right to object to the referee’s decisions regarding the expulsion of Fabio Lima and to demand that they be reconsidered due to the fact that the authority to object to referees ’decisions is for professional league competitions only (League, Arabian Gulf Cup, Reserve League, Super Cup), and the President’s Cup competition follows For the Competitions Committee of the Football Association, as there is no similar body for it, and therefore the administrative penalties taken against the players will be enforceable in the league matches.
