Al Taawoun could face FIFA sanctions over signing Gamarra

Al Taawoun could face FIFA sanctions over signing New York Red Bulls’s former player Alejandro Romero Gamarra on a free transfer. 

The player informed his Saudi club that he is a free agent, at the time that his contract was still in effect with his American club.

The Major League Soccer association (MLS) announced their full support to New York Red Bulls, as they are set to file a complaint against the Paraguayan midfielder in the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). 

Gamarra is currently negotiating with his former club in to reach a freindly agreement, in order to avoid imposing any sanctions on hime or his current clubAl Taawoun
