Al Saiari’s Brace sends Al Faisaly to King Cup semi-finals

Al Faisaly secured their qualification to the King Cup semi-finals after defeating Al Batin 2-1 in the quarter-finals on Monday. 

With five minutes on the clock,  Al Faisaly’s Mohammed Al Saiari opened the score to give his team the early lead of the game.

Al Batin upped the pressure in order to return in the game, and in the 36the minute they equalized the score.

Al Batin’s Zakaria Sami bagged the ball at the back of Al Faisaly’s net to make the result 1-1.

The second half kicked off and Al Faisaly kept their pressure to score the winner , but Al Batin’s defence managed to keep the ball away.

In the 78the minute, Al Saiari’s moment of glory came as he netted the second goal to complete a brilliant brace which sent his team to the King Cup semi-finals.

Al Faisaly are currently waiting the winner of Al Nassr VS Al Ain to play against in the semi-final.
