Al-Nassr pro wins the Player of the Month award in West Asia
Brazilian Petros Matthews, a professional of the Saudi Al-Nassr team, won the Player of the Month award (January) in the West Asia region, through a vote by the AFC website.
The AFC website revealed the percentage obtained by Petros, as the Brazilian player swept the percentage of votes in the West region by obtaining 74.03% of the votes of the participants, surpassing Christian Joanca, the player of the Saudi Al Shabab club, who got 8.88% of the vote, and the Iraqi Ayman Hussein, the player of the club. Petros had contributed to Al-Nassr’s achievement of the Saudi Super Cup at the expense of its traditional rivals Al-Hilal at the end of last month, as well as to Al-Nassr’s team achieving four victories out of 5 matches in the league championship last month.
