Al-Nasr of the United Arab Emirates officially announces his contract with Argentine coach Ramon Diaz
The UAE club Al-Nasr has officially announced its contract with Argentine Ramon Diaz, to assume the position of coaching the team for a season and a half, until the end of the 2021-2022 season, succeeding Kronoslav Jurchic.
Diaz had come to Dubai a few days ago, in order to agree to take over the position of technical director of Al-Nasr, who was negotiating with Emiliano, the coach’s son, and his agent at the same time.
While Diaz revealed that he took over the training of Al-Nasr, two years late, as there were previous negotiations at the time to take over the team’s training, but the negotiations between the two parties did not reach a complete agreement, unlike what happened now, as the agreement was quick.
He added, in his statements during the press conference, that he seeks to achieve great ambitions with Al-Nasr, who possesses high technical capabilities, revealing that his offensive idea will be the slogan of the new phase of the training school that he pursues with Al-Nasr.
He continued, “I know that I am in a big club that has ambitions to win titles, and there is a desire to work with the players and convey the ideology that supports it, and every coach has a different way of working, and my ambition is great to win titles.”
He continued: “I know Al-Nasr club well, which is one of the biggest clubs in the Arab Gulf League, as well as keen to follow all its matches, and I know that it is one of the five strongest local teams.”
He concluded: “I am optimistic about the team’s ability to compete in the league and other tournaments, as happened when I took over the Saudi Al-Hilal training, as the club was then absent from the coronation podiums for quite a while, and I succeeded in returning its name again to the record of titles.”
Diaz has a strong CV, as he has previously trained many teams and teams at the helm of the Paraguayan national team, and he also won with River Plate 6 Argentine League titles and the title of Libertadores, and he also won the league with San Lorenzo Argentine, with he also coached the Saudi Al-Hilal team and got with him on Many titles, and he coached the Saudi Al Ittihad team also for a short period, as well as the Egyptian Pyramids.
