Tunisian Youssef Al-Msakni, the playmaker of the Qatari team, Al-Duhail, is close to leaving the ranks of his team during the upcoming winter transfer window, based on a decree from the technical director Sabri Lamouchi.

Al-Duhail coach told Al-Msakni that it was difficult for him to be in the team list or in the main lineup, and he asked him to try a new experience, away from the team, despite the Tunisian player’s desire to stay and participate in the Club World Cup in February 2021.

Al-Msakni has paid the price for the repeated injuries he has suffered over the past two seasons, specifically since the injury he suffered by severing the cruciate ligament in April 2018 during the Al-Sailiya match in the Stars League.

Al-Msakni had a short professional experience with the Belgian club Auben in January 2019 for a period of 6 months, before returning to the ranks of Al Duhail with the start of the current season, but the player remained away from the plans of the technical staff of the team, to be informed officially, that he became outside the accounts of the club In the Winter Mercato.

Msakni received several offers from Gulf clubs, in addition to the desire of some Saudi teams to sign him, but the Tunisian player prefers to have an experience with a club in which he regularly participates, especially as he seeks to continue joining the camps of the Tunisian national team.

Al-Msakni contributed to the crowning of Al-Duhail with a number of titles since his move to the team several years ago from Esperance, Tunisia.
