Al Ittihad win Saudi Classico

Al Ittihad managed to achieve an important victory today over their arch-rivals Al Hilal, after defeating them 2-0 in Matchday 25 of the Saudi Professional League.

Al Hilal started the game in an offensive style, as they were searching for the opener.

However, Al Ittihad’s defenders manages to stood their ground and kept their net clean.

In the 26th minute, Al Nassr’s A.Fathallah gave his team the early lead, while in the 45th minute, S.Abdulhamid added the second goal to give his team a comfortable 2-0 lead.

Al Hilal tried to pull a comeback in the game, but all their attempts failed. 

 Following today’s game, Al Ittihad jumped to the second position with 45 points while Al Hilal Stayed at the first position with 48 points.
