Al-Ittihad rises to fourth place in the Saudi League after defeating Al-Wehda

Saudi Ittihad Jeddah club achieved a precious victory over Al-Wehda team, on Sunday, within the seventh week of the Saudi Professional League, with a result of 2-1 in the meeting that brought the two teams together at King Abdulaziz Stadium in the city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, western Saudi Arabia.

Garry Rodriguez got the leading for Al Ittihad in the 28th minute, after Al Ittihad dominated the first half.

In the second half, the two teams shared the level. Al-Ittihad succeeded in getting a penalty kick. The Brazilian player Romarinho scored the second goal of Al-Ittihad in the 83rd minute.

Al-Wehda tried to reduce the score after Al-Ittihad scored the second goal, and Al-Wehda succeeded in reducing the score late in the match after the team got a penalty kick in the 90th minute, which was successfully kicked by Dimitri.

The Saudi Jeddah Federation raised a balance for the 13th place in the fourth place of the Saudi League standings, while the Al-Wehda team froze at point 6 in the 14th position at the bottom of the standings.
