Al Ittihad fail to keep league hopes against Damac

Al Ittihad  to keep pace on the league title race after being held to a 1-1 draw on Saturday. 

Damac managed to take the lead in the 8th minute, after Emilio Zelaya netted the opener.

Al Ittihad upped their pressure to equalize, and in the 84th minute, Gary Rodriguez bagged the equalizer.

Following today’s game, Al Ittihad are sit in the third place with 47 points, while Damac are in the relegation zone with 29 points.

On a similar note, Al Taawoun managed to achieve a 2-1 victory over Al Raed in the Saudi Professional League.

Al Taawoun reached 49 points following their victory to share the third place with Al Ittihad.
