Al Ittihad continue winless run over Al Faisaly

Al Ittihad have showed a good performance this season in the Saudi Professional League, compared to the team’s performances in the previous seasons. 

However, Al Ittihad are still suffering when it comes to playing against some teams. 

Al Ittihad met Al Faisaly on Tuesday in the league and suffered another negative result against them. 

Al Ittihad took the lead in the first half but they conceded three goals in the second half to lose the match 3-1. 

Al Ittihad maintained their negative run against Al Faisaly as they failed to achieve a victory over them since 2016. 

The same happened against Al Hilal as Al Ittihad failed to achieve a single victory over Al Hilal since 2016. 

Al Ittihad had a chance to break this negative run this season but a late goal from Al Hilal prevented Al Ittihad from getting the three points. However, they still have a chance to put an end to this negative run when they face Al Hilal next April in the 25th week. 

It is worth mentioning that Al Ittihad’s worst run in the league comes against Abha, against which Al Ittihad failed to win a match in the league since 2008. 

Al Ittihad will meet Abha in May in the 28th week of the league.
