Al-Hilal maintains the top of the Saudi League despite the draw with Al-Faisaly

Al-Hilal Saudi Arabia maintained the top of the Saudi League with the conclusion of the first round of the Saudi Professional League, as the Saudi League leader tied with his counterpart Al-Faisaly, on Monday, with a score of 1-1 within the 15th week of the Saudi Professional League, reaching point No. 30.

Al-Hilal advanced first through French striker Gomez, who opened the scoring for Al-Hilal in the 20th minute, with a header, taking advantage of the negligence of Al-Faisali’s defense.

Al-Faisali equalized through a penalty kick in the 83rd minute, after returning to the video technology (VAR) after the ball collided with Al-Hilal defender Yasser Al-Shahrani.

Al-Hilal rose to 30 points at the top of the Saudi League, while Al-Faisaly reached 16 points in 12th place.
