Al Fateh reach King Cup semis

Al Fateh secured their qualification to the King Cup semi-finals after defeating Al Ittihad 2-1 at King Abdul Aziz Stadium. 

The first half ended with a goalless draw, as the game was tightened in the midfield. 

In the second half, the referee showed the red card twice.  In the 75th minute, Al Ittihad’s Saud Abdulhamid was sent off the field,  while Al Fateh’s Sofiane Bendebka recieved the red card in the 92nd minute. 

The game went to the extra time and in the 113th minute, Al Fateh’s Mourad Batna managed to score the first goal of the game. 

After five minutes, Mohamed Majrashi netted the second goal to give his team a comfortable lead. 

However,  Al Ittihad tried to equalize  but all their attempts were blocked by Al Fateh’s defense. 

In the 120th minute,  Al Ittihad’s Ahmed Hegazi scored his team’s only goal, but it was not enough to save his team.
