Al Fateh defeat Al Batin in SPL
Al Fateh managed to clinch an important victory today, as they defeated Al Batin 2-0 in week 23 of the Saudi Professional League.
Al Fateh jumped to the twelfth position following today’s win, as they reached 28 points. Al Batin are currently in the eleventh position with 28 points, but Al Fateh had the upper hand due to the goal difference.
Al Fateh took the early lead after 18 seconds only, thanks to Mourad Batna’s screamer which changed the result to be 1-0.
In the 38th minute, Al Batin netted the equalizer, but it was disallowed by the VAR due to an offside.
Al Fateh upped the pressure in the game and managed to score the second goal in the 68th minute, as the Moroccan kept his brilliant performance and latched an impressive pass to Mitchell te Verde, who bagged the ball at the back of Al Batin’s net.
