Al Ain end Al Faisaly’s winning run

Al Faisaly were held to a 1-1 draw against Al Ain tonight in the Saudi Professional League at King Saud Sport City Stadium .

Al Ain managed to end Al Faisaly’s winning run in the league after tonight’s draw.  

Al Ain’s Nigerian striker Amadou Moutari scored the opeer in the 15the minute to give his team the early lead.  

However, Al Faisaly’s Guilherme scored the equalizer in the 38th minute and the game ended with the same result. 

After today’s game,  Al Ain stayed at the bottom of the table with 16 points,  while Al Faisaly reached 30 points and stayed sixth at the table.  

On a similar note,  Abha sent Al Fateh to the 14th place today after defeating them 2-1 in the SPL at Sultan bin Abdulaziz Stadium.  

Abha’s Saad Bguir opened the score in the 33rd minute while Carlos Standberg bagged the second in the 78the minute.  

Al Fateh tried to pull a comeback in the game,  but all their chances were blocked by Abha’s defenders.  

In the 90the minute,  Al Fateh’s Mitchell te Verde scored his team’s only goal of the game, but it was not enough to save the day.  

Abha jumped 3 positions to become 11the in the table with 28 points,  while Al Fateh stayed at the relegation zone with 25 points
