Al Ahly start preparation for Al Nasr’s game in Egyptian Cup

Al Ahly started their preparations for their next game against Al Nasr in round of 32 of the Egyptian Cup. 

Moreover, Walter Bwalya, Al Ahly’s winger, did not participate in Saturday’s training session at El Tetsh stadium as he is suffering from pain in his stomach.

Sayed Abdelhafiz, Al Ahly’s director of football, said that the player will undergo a medical check-up to evaluate his condition.

Additionally, Nasser Maher, our midfielder, did not take part in today’s full training session as he trained at the gym and did some recovery drills.

Sayed Abdelhafiz, Al Ahly’s director of football, stated that Nasser caught a cold which forced him to miss their game against Simba SC.

Also, Sayed Abdelhafiz, Al Ahly’s director of football, stated that Mohamed Hany, our defender, will not be available for the team’s game against Al Nasr FC in the Egyptian Cup round of 32.

The medical tests that the player underwent confirmed that he is suffering from an injury in his adductor muscle which will cause him to miss the upcoming game, as he will be following a special rehabilitation program, under the supervision of the team’s medical staff.

Lastly, Hany’s return date to the team’s training sessions still remains unknown as it is subject to the player’s progress in his recovery program.

On a similar note, Al Ahly’ board of directors headed by President Mahmoud El Khatib, decided to suspend the youth team head coach, Amr Anwar,  and conduct an investigation over his behaviour during Al Ahly’s game against Ennpi in the league.
