Al-Ahly sends the FIFA Club World Cup list to FIFA, while Walter Bwalya is included in his domestic list

Sayed Abdel Hafeez, director of football at Al-Ahly Club, announced the registration of Zambian Walter Bwalia, the new striker, who joined the ranks of the red team, on the local list, and his name was also sent to the list of players preparing to participate in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Abdel Hafeez said that the list that participates in the World Cup of Clubs has been sent to FIFA and includes 35 players, and some players like Angolan Giraldo da Costa, Nasser Maher, and Karim Walid “Nedved” came out, according to the vision of the technical staff led by Pitso Mosimane.

He added that all procedures for registering Walter Bwalia in the local list have been completed, and he will be ready to lead the offensive line, in front of Ceramica Cleopatra in the Egyptian League, which will be held next Friday, and will be registered in the African list on January 10, according to the CAF regulations. Abdel Hafeez explained that the final list, which includes 23 players, will be sent on January 23.

The FIFA Club World Cup will be held during the period from February 1-11 in Doha, and the tournament draw will take place on the 19th of this month at FIFA headquarters in the Swiss capital, Zurich, next January 19, and more precautionary measures will be announced.

Al-Ahly, Tigress Unal, Mexico, Bayern Munich, Auckland City, New Zealand, Ulsan Hyundai, South Korea, and the Qatari representative of the host country will participate in the tournament. Only one seat remains for the teams qualifying for the FIFA Club World Cup, which is the seat to be occupied by the Libertadores Cup champion.
