Al Ahly leave for Tanzania to face Simba

Al Ahly first-team delegation left Cairo on Friday to Tanzania to face
Simba in the second round of the CAF Champions League group stage.

Al Ahly had a strong start to the group stage after achieving a 3-0
victory over Sudanese giants Al Merrikh thanks to three goals from Mohamed
Magdy Afsha, Mahmoud Kahraba, and Walter Bwalya.

Al Ahly and Simba have the same points, three for each side but the
Egyptian giants are leading the group by goal difference.

Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane announced the team squad for the
journey, which included: Mohamed El Shenawy, Ali Lotfy, Hamza Alaa, Mostafa
Shobeir, Mohamed Hany, Ahmed Ramadan Beckham, Ayman Ashraf, Yasser Ibrahim,
Badr Benoun, Ali Maaloul, Saad Samir, Ramy Rabia, Mahmoud Wahid, Akram Tawfik,
Hamdy Fathy, Amr El Soulia, Aliou Dieng, Afsha, Kahraba, Bwalya, Junior Ajayi
and Marwan Mohsen.

Al Ahly delegation members received Malaria medication before the
journey and they will receive another two doses, according to the head of Al
Ahly’s medical staff Dr. Ahmed Abo Abla.
