Al-Ahly heads to Qatar in preparation for the Club World Cup

The first team football mission at Al-Ahly club left Cairo airport for Qatar, to compete in the FIFA Club World Cup, to be held during the period from 4 to 11 February next, where it will arrive at Doha airport at half-past seven in the evening Cairo time.

Al-Ahly completed its training in Cairo this morning under the leadership of Technical Director Pitso Mosimani, before traveling to the Qatari capital, Doha.

The Al-Ahly delegation in the World Cup is headed by Mahmoud Al-Khatib, president of the club, and the Cairo team is participating in the Club World Cup for the sixth time, representing the continent of Africa, after winning the CAF Champions League for the ninth time.
