Al Ahly grant the players victory bonus for winning the FIFA Club World Cup bronze medal
Al Ahly’s board of directors decided to grant the football first team win bonus after they managed to clinch the bronze medal of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Moreover, Al Ahly’s board decided not to deprive Hussien El Shahat and Mahmoud Abdelmenam, known as Kahraba, of their winning bonus.
El Shahat and Kahraba were banned from participating against Palmeiras of Brazil, as they did not adhere to the precautionary measures following the team’s game against FC Bayern Munich.
On a similar note, Al Ahly’s director of football, Sayed Abdelhafiz, will not travel to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with Al Ahly’s director of marketing and transfers Amir Tawfik, and Al Ahly’s academy director Khaled Bebo to select the new design of Al Ahly’s kit.
Abdelhafiz will not join A Ahly’s officials in the UAE as the Red Eagles have an important game against Al Merrikh of Sudan in the CAF Champions League group stage.
