Al Ahly deny reciving offers for Afsha
Amir Tawfik, Al Ahly’s head of marketing and transfers, denied reciving any offers for the team’s player Mohamed Magdy, known as Afsha.
Tawfik stated that Galatasaray did not ask to sign Afsha and all the news related to this issue are fake.
Tawfik affirmed that Afsha is one of the team’s key players and the coaching staff will not let him go after his impressive performance with the team.
On a similar note, Al Ahly’s goalkeeper underwent a new COVID-19 test in order to check his conditon ahead of facing Zamalek in the Cairo Derby.
El Shenawy was sidelined from the team after testing positive for Coronavirus, and he might miss the Cairo Derby if his test’s result was positive.
Al Ahly are set to face their arch-rivals, Zamalek, in the Egyptian Premier League on Sunday at Cairo International Stadium in a postponed game from Matchweek 4.
