Al Ahly suffered a 1-0 loss to Tanzania’s Simba on Tuesday at Benjamin Mkapa
Stadium in Matchday 2 of the CAF Champions League group stage.
Simba secured the three points thanks to a goal from their winger, Luís Miquissone, after 31 minutes from the start. Vita Club won their first match in the group stage and they are now sharing the second position with Al Ahly, 3 points each. Simba are leading the group with 6 points from two victories while Al Merrikh stay at the bottom of the table with no points.
