Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah, top scorer in the AFC Champions League

Al-Nassr Saudi striker, Moroccan Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah, won the 2020 AFC Champions League top scorer award, after finishing the tournament with 7 goals.
Hamdallah scored 7 goals with Brazilian Junior Negrao, Ulsan Hyundai striker, South Korea, and the two players were tied with one assist each pass, but Hamdallah won the top scorer award because he played fewer minutes during the tournament.
Hamdallah contributed to Al-Nasr’s qualification to the semi-finals and became the first Moroccan player to win the AFC Champions League top scorer award.
The 30-year-old Moroccan striker scored in all his matches with Al-Nassr in the tournament, with the exception of one match, and the match against Iranian Sepahan saw him score two goals in the group stage.
Hamdallah had to wait for the outcome of the final match, as Junior Negrao scored twice against Iran’s Persepolis goal on Saturday – the players equaled with 7 goals.
According to the tournament instructions, in the event that two players with the same balance of goals tie, the number of decisive passes is used, and if the tie continues, the winner will be the player who played fewer minutes, and Hamdallah scored his seven goals in 653 minutes.
Hamdallah was crowned top scorer in the Saudi League for two years in a row, and he also won the Qatari League’s top scorer award when he was playing with Al-Jaish in the 2015-2016 season.
