Abdelhafiz: We are ready to face Ismaily at any stadium
Al Ahly director of football Sayed Abdelhafiz stated that Al Ahly are ready to face Ismaily at any stadium.
“We are not part of this dispute, as it is only related to the host team”, Abdelhafiz added.
Abdelhafiz also commented on his team’s game against AS Vita Club of Congo.
“The referee gave the Congolese team a controversial penalty kick. However, mistakes happen and we are currently focusing on the upcoming period”, Abdelhafiz stated.
“We missed a lot of chances in tbe game, but we still have another game against them in Congo and we are looking forward to winning it”, Abdelhafiz stated.
“Maaloul is close to retrun to the team’s squad, as he is currently at the final phase of his recovery program. Wahid suffered a hamstring muscle strain and will be sidelined for about 2 months.
As for Walid Soliman, he will join the team’s full training after our game against AS Vita Club. While Mohamed Mahmoud will be back in action within 10 days”, Abdelhafiz said.
“Karim Nedved was about to return once again to the team, but he felt a pain in his knees. There is nothing serious with him, but his return will be postponed for a while in order to make sure that he has fully recovered”, Abdelhafiz concluded.
