Al-Ahly club said in an official statement: “Based on the instructions of the club’s president, Mahmoud Al-Khatib, and the football team’s mission in the FIFA Clubs World Cup .. The statement added: “In the letter, Al-Ahly affirmed its full respect for FIFA’s regulations and the organization of the tournament, foremost of which is the commitment to precautionary measures, especially since the players acted spontaneously, far from any other matters.”
