Al-Ahly club said in an official statement: “Based on the instructions of the club’s president, Mahmoud Al-Khatib, and the football team’s mission in the FIFA Clubs World Cup .. Engineer Khaled Murtaji, a member of the club’s board of directors and the general coordinator of the mission, sent a letter to FIFA explaining the position of the players, Hussein Al-Shahat and Mahmoud He was electrified about their lack of commitment to the precautionary measures after the end of the match between Al-Ahly and Bayern, which took place last Monday in the semi-finals of the tournament.

The statement added: “In the letter, Al-Ahly affirmed its full respect for FIFA’s regulations and the organization of the tournament, foremost of which is the commitment to precautionary measures, especially since the players acted spontaneously, far from any other matters.”

Al-Shahat and Kahraba violated the rules of the medical bubble and were isolated from the Al-Ahly mission because they shook hands with Mohamed Aboutrika, the former Al-Ahly star, and a number of the team’s fans during the match between Bayern Munich, Germany, last Monday, in the semi-final round of the World Cup, which ended with Bayern winning 2-0.
