Egyptian League: Zamalek defeats Al-Jaish by three and continues to chase Al-Ahly

 

Zamalek team won a big victory over its counterpart Talaia El-Geish, by three goals in the match that was held today, Saturday, in the sixth round of the Egyptian Premier League competition.

Zamalek continued to achieve its victories, to continue chasing the defending champion Al-Ahly at the top of the Egyptian league, and the white team made a good match and the players appeared in high spirit for the 90 minutes.

Zamalek Youssef Ibrahim “Obama” scored the first goal in the 17th minute of the match, in order for the white team to impose its control over the course of affairs, amid a great retreat from the Talaia Al-Jaish players, who appeared at a modest level throughout the match.

In the second half, the brilliant Imam Ashour, the Zamalek midfielder, managed to score two goals in the 49th and 71st minutes, to continue to prove his worth with the opportunity he had since the absence of Ferjani Sassi, the Tunisian professional in the ranks of the white team.

With this result, Zamalek raised its score to the 13th point in second place behind Al-Ahly leaders with the same points, but the goal difference is in favor of the titleholder.

In the rest of the matches, the clearing Egypt defeated Aswan with a clean goal scored by Hisham Mohamed at the deadly time of the match to snatch his team three important points, to raise the clearing tally to the tenth point in fifth place, while Aswan’s balance was frozen at the sixth point in the 14th place.

While Ghazl El-Mahalla tied 0-0 with El Gouna, in the matches of the same round.

Mahalla raised its score to point six in 13th place, while El-Gouna raised its score to point 12 in sixth place.
