Amir Tawfiq, director of contracts at Al-Ahly Club of Egypt, holds a negotiation session with striker Mohamed Sharif, in order to agree to officially renew his contract for the next three years after the player received several offers from some local and European clubs.

Al-Ahly wants to keep striker Mohamed Sharif, who has been providing excellent levels, since the start of the current season, and he also received an offer from Portuguese club Sporting Braga to join him on loan, but he was rejected by the management of the Cairo club.

The contracting director of Al-Ahly club will hold a session to renew Sharif’s contract, who showed great flexibility in staying within the club and welcomed the extension of the contract, especially in light of the great confidence he enjoys on the part of coach Pitso Musimani.

In another context, the technical staff of the Egyptian Al-Ahly club received a pleasant surprise, as the Nigerian Junior Ajay, the team’s striker, approached to participate in group training.

Ajay had suffered a tendon injury in his foot, and according to doctors, he suffers from a cut in the “lateral tendon” near Achilles, and underwent physical therapy for the past month, as his recent scans showed his recovery, to begin rehabilitative training procedures.

Al-Ahly registered Ajay in the team’s list in the Club World Cup, a tournament that the player had wished to join, to participate in it for the first time with the Red Club, which he joined in the summer of 2016.

While the coaching staff is studying the idea of ​​loaning one of the attackers, and the one closest to loaning Salah Mohsen, the team’s striker, who received two offers from Smouha Club, and another offer from a club outside Egypt.

Musimani’s coach favors the duo Salah Mohsen and Ahmed Yasser Ryan for the exit of one of them in January, after Walter Bwalya, Zambian Zambian, joined the ranks of Al-Ahly, during the current winter transfer period.

While Al-Ahly will meet on Friday evening with Ceramica Cleopatra in the Egyptian Premier League championship, which is an important confrontation for the team, which seeks to achieve victory, after a 0-0 draw in the previous match against Wadi Degla.
