Al Ahli draw against Esteghlal in AFC Champions League

Al Ahli Saudi were held to a goalless draw against Esteghlal of Iran in Matchday 5 of the AFC Champions League group stage. 

Following today’s game, Esteghlal surged moved ahead of Al Ahli and Al Duhail on the head to head, despite sharing the same amount of points (8). 

On a similar note, Al Duhail of Qatar were beaten 2-1 by Al Shorta of Iraq in Matchday 5 of the AFC Champions League group stage.

Al Shorta are currently sit at the bottom of Group C with 3 points, and they failed to secure their qualification to the second round.
