CAF rejects the attendance of Zamalek fans to Esperance’s game

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) rejected the attendance of Zamalek fans to their game against Tunisia’s Esperance. 

Esperance managed to defeat the White Knights 3-1 in Matchday 3 of the CAF Champions League group stage. Zamalek are currently in the third position of Group with two points.

On a similar note,  Zamalek’s French manager Patrice Carteron announced his team’s squad for Tuesday’s game which included:

(Mahmoud Abdul Rahim – Mohamed Abou Gabal – Mahmoud Alaa – Mohamed Abdel Ghani – Mahmoud Hamdy – Ahmed Eid – Abdallah Gomaa – Mohamed Abdel Shafy – Ferjani Sassi – Tarek Hamed – Emam Ashour – Ahmed Sayed – Youssef Ibrahim – Mahmoud Abdul-Raziq – Achraf Bencharki – Hamid Ahadad – Osama Faisal – Hossam Ashraf). 

Also, Carteron stated that he is glad to return once again to Zamalek. 

He also said that the team is in a difficult situation especially that they managed to collect only two points from three games. 

Caretron also stated that his players’ fitness levels are not good, so he is currently working to improve them ahead of Esperance’s game.
